The Crazy Horse Memorial is an ongoing memorial project in dedication to Crazy Horse, legendary chief of the Lakota Indians. The face of the chief was carved out of mountain rock and completed in 1998, at nine story's high. When the whole project is complete it will be the worlds largest mountain carving at 563 feet high and 641 feet long.
